The first episode of "City Trams" was released onto the popular website YouTube today!
Episode 1, "The Silence of the Trams", is the first in the all-new computer animated production centred around trams working on a large tramway network in a big city.

The episode has been receiving some great success, which is a relief as this took ages - and I mean ages - to animate. Further episodes will be following, including new characters and locations.
And what about TTMS? Don't worry, episode 21 is being worked on as I type these words, and should hopefully come out later in the year.
Look out for "Tramline Romance" and "My Big Fat Hatt Wedding" later this year!

New for August 2009 - the discovery of Bold Font! And two new projects.
Back from Japan, back from Hong Kong and back in business!
Shooting wraps up tommorow for the latest TTMS adventure - episode 21, now entitled "My Big Fat Hatt Wedding". I'm just waiting for lines from two more people (I won't say who), then it's over to the animation department. I won't give away much about the story, but it's a 'who-decorated' mystery...
I've also been working on a brand new project in top secret that will HOPEFULLY be finished by the end of the month, which very few people currently know about. The new series is probably the biggest challenge I've ever taken on to date, as it will be in full 2D (with 3D effects) computer-generated animation! Today saw me work a practically solid 3 and a half hours to produce 1 minute 46 seconds of film, which is probably the greatest day's work I've ever done, three cheers for me!!! The new project is entitled "City Trams" - interesting to note the scene I finished today was set entirely in the countryside. :P
Currently confirmed to appear in the series: myself (of course), TheRailwayInspector3, ThomasandStanley and RayTheTrainEngine.
Look out for "Thomas the Model Series" Episode 21 - "My Big Fat Hatt Wedding" - and "City Trams" Episode 1 - "The Silence of the Trams" - coming out this August! Hopefully...

We're all going on a summer holiday...
Well, I am anyway! :D
Konnichiwa! Yes folks, I am finally leaving England behind in the rain, and setting off for Japan and Hong Kong tommorow! I'm currently taking a break from last-minute packing to let you know I shall be off tommorow on Monday 13th July, and I shall be returning Sunday 26th July, very late in the evening, so I shall hopefully recover from jetlag on Monday 27th July.
Until then, trusty co-director RayTheTrainEngine is in charge of all things TTMS related, because he is. :)
Well there's nothing else to say, so... sayonara!

New blog, new advert!
Hello again! I guess you've found our new blog then (how'd I ever guess that?).
Let's get the bad news out of the way first - the power of media brings us the news we all know about by now, unless you're fortunate enough to have been asleep for the last 26 or so hours - wish I could sleep that long. Anyway, rest in peace Michael Jackson - very strange I admit, but let's face it, "Thriller" is pretty catchy. :P
On the plus side, the blog has a brand new advertisement on YouTube!
Well, this is a mainly production-related blog, so I guess it's sensible to give you the news that I have been in recording sessions with our actors over the week for episode 21, set to be a "Who-Decorated" mystery, and "Thomas' Model Halloween". As always, the acting is superb!
I am also nearly done with the shooting for episode 21, which should wrap up over the weekend if all goes well. :)

Welcome to the new TTMS Blog!
So let it forever be known that, at 20:52 (GMT), on Thursday 25th June 2009, that the Thomas the Model Series Blog was created!
Well, welcome to our brand new blog! This blog is dedicated to the long-running "Thomas the Model Series", an online series of webisodes based on the loved classic "Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends". Since releasing episode 1 on 31st March 2006, there have been 20 episodes of the series, and we can't forget our two end-of-season specials and the feature film, "Thomas the Model Movie". The series features Thomas and his friends from the books and TV series, but is also joined by friends such as the two brothers, Gary and Steve, and a one-off character from the TV series now gets more to say - the bi-plane we know and love, Tiger Moth!
